The expansion of St. Dominic’s Hospital campus in Madison County illustrates our commitment to residents of Madison County and central Mississippi. The 71-bed acute care, short stay, state-of-the-art facility calls for an approximately $121 million investment and includes:

  • New 177,631 square foot hospital
  • 59 medical/surgical care beds and 6 ICU beds 
  • 6 obstetric beds (Labor, Delivery Recovery, Postpartum - LDRP)
  • Level IV Emergency Department that operates 24/7
  • Imaging Services, including MRI
  • Rehabilitative Care and Physical Therapy Center
  • Full Service Pharmacy
  • Outpatient Services
  • Laboratory and Ancillary Services
  • 60,000 square foot medical office building

About Us

In June 2007 St. Dominic's Jackson applied to the Mississippi Department of Health for a Certificate of Need to build a 71-bed acute care satellite campus in Madison County east of Interstate 55 at the Galleria Parkway and the planned Reunion Parkway interchange. Madison County is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States, yet it ranks the lowest in Mississippi in the number of acute care hospital beds per capita.
